Cancel in a web browser

  1. Go to tv.youtube.com and sign in.
  2. Select your profile photo.
  3. Go to Settings, then Membership.
  4. Click Manage, then Cancel membership, then confirm with Cancel.

On iPhone or iPad, YouTube TV’s help sends you to a web browser for these steps. To drop only add-on networks, you can remove them one at a time.

Cancel in the YouTube TV app on Android

  1. Open the YouTube TV app.
  2. Select your profile photo.
  3. Go to Settings, then Membership.
  4. Tap Manage, then Cancel membership, then confirm with Cancel.

If your mobile carrier or internet provider bills you

  1. Use the same YouTube TV cancel steps above.
  2. Contact your provider for refunds or questions about your bill.

Provider-billed memberships can’t be paused. If you rejoin later through YouTube TV, Google bills you instead of your provider.

Cancel on iPhone or iPad (billed by Apple)

If you subscribed to YouTube TV through the App Store, Apple bills you, so you cancel in Settings → your name → Subscriptions.

  1. Open the Settings app and tap your name.
  2. Tap Subscriptions.
  3. Tap the subscription you want to cancel.
  4. Tap Cancel Subscription — you may need to scroll down. If there's no cancel button, or you see red expiration text, it's already cancelled.

YouTube TV no longer takes new payments through Apple’s in-app purchase. If Apple does bill you for YouTube TV, cancel it in your Apple subscriptions; refunds for those follow Apple’s policy.

Good to know before you cancel

  • Recordings expire 21 days after your access ends, and earlier recordings or promotional prices may not come back if you rejoin.
  • Cancelling during a free trial doesn’t cut access off right away — you keep it until the trial ends.
  • No refunds or credits for partial billing periods.
  • A pause lasts 4 weeks to 6 months and starts after the current billing cycle; you can’t watch or record while paused.
