How to cancel Paramount+

The fastest way

If you pay Paramount+ directly, sign in at paramountplus.com, open Account from your username menu and click Cancel subscription. If an app store, Roku or Amazon bills you, cancel there.

Cancel on the web

  1. Go to paramountplus.com and sign in.
  2. Click your username in the upper-right corner, then Account.
  3. Scroll down and click Cancel subscription.
  4. Follow the prompts to finish.

Use the website if you signed up there, on a smart TV (LG, Vizio, Samsung) or on a game console (Xbox, PlayStation). Can’t sign in? Paramount+ says to open the chat on its Help Center home page and type “Agent”.

If Amazon bills you

  1. Fire TV or Amazon Appstore billing: go to amazon.com/appstoresubscriptions, find Paramount+ and cancel your subscription from its Actions menu.
  2. Prime Video Channels: in Prime Video, open Account & Settings → Your subscriptions, find the Paramount+ channel and unsubscribe.

If Roku bills you

  1. Go to your Roku home screen.
  2. Highlight the Paramount+ channel and press the * button on the remote.
  3. Select Manage Subscription, then Cancel Subscription.

If you get it through Walmart+ or a TV provider

  1. Paramount+ that comes with Walmart+ is managed from your Walmart+ account — cancelling Walmart+ also ends it.
  2. The Paramount+ with SHOWTIME channel from a TV provider is changed or dropped through that provider.

Cancel on iPhone or iPad (billed by Apple)

If you subscribed to Paramount+ through the App Store, Apple bills you, so you cancel in Settings → your name → Subscriptions.

  1. Open the Settings app and tap your name.
  2. Tap Subscriptions.
  3. Tap the subscription you want to cancel.
  4. Tap Cancel Subscription — you may need to scroll down. If there's no cancel button, or you see red expiration text, it's already cancelled.

Paramount+ says Apple-billed subscriptions are cancelled in Apple’s settings. Apple TV Channels subscribers cancel in the Apple TV’s Settings under Users and Accounts.

Cancel on Android (billed by Google Play)

If you subscribed to Paramount+ through Google Play, cancel it in Google Play.

  1. On your Android device, open your subscriptions in Google Play.
  2. Select the subscription you want to cancel.
  3. Tap Cancel subscription.
  4. Follow the on-screen instructions.

Paramount+ points Google Play subscribers to g.co/play/subscriptions. Uninstalling the app on an Android TV doesn’t cancel.

Good to know before you cancel

  • You cancel where you signed up — the Paramount+ website can’t cancel plans billed by Apple, Google Play, Amazon or Roku.
  • You keep Paramount+ until the end of your current billing period.
  • If Paramount+ does issue you a refund, your access ends right away.
  • There’s no standalone Showtime subscription any more — Showtime is part of Paramount+ plans.

Will I get a refund?

Usually not. Paramount+ says it doesn’t refund fees you’ve already paid, apart from cases where the law requires it. If it does issue a refund, your access ends immediately.

When does my access end?

You keep Paramount+ until the end of your current billing period.

I subscribed through Apple, Google Play, Amazon or Roku. Can Paramount+ cancel it?

No. Paramount+ says to cancel in that platform’s subscription settings.

How do I cancel Showtime?

Showtime is no longer sold on its own — it’s part of Paramount+ plans, so you cancel Paramount+. If you get the Paramount+ with SHOWTIME channel from a TV provider, cancel it with that provider.
