How to cancel Disney+

The fastest way

If Disney+ bills you, log in at disneyplus.com in a web browser, select your Profile, then Account, your subscription, and Cancel Subscription. You keep access until your term ends.

Cancel on the web

Log in at disneyplus.com in a computer or phone browser.
Select your Profile, then Account.
Under Subscription, select your Disney+ subscription.
Select Cancel Subscription.

If Amazon bills you

Open Amazon’s Memberships and Subscriptions page in a web browser and sign in.
Find Disney+ and select Cancel Subscription.

If another company bills you

If your Disney+ account shows no billing history, a partner probably bills you.
Go to that partner’s account page or help center to cancel.
Verizon and Xfinity customers can also cancel directly through Disney+.

Disney+ lists partners such as Verizon, Xfinity, Spectrum, Hulu, HBO Max, Kroger and Total Wireless.

Cancel on iPhone or iPad (billed by Apple)

If you subscribed to Disney+ through the App Store, Apple bills you, so you cancel in Settings → your name → Subscriptions.

Open the Settings app and tap your name.
Tap Subscriptions.
Tap the subscription you want to cancel.
Tap Cancel Subscription — you may need to scroll down. If there's no cancel button, or you see red expiration text, it's already cancelled.

New and returning subscribers can no longer pay through Apple; existing Apple-billed members cancel in Settings → your name → Subscriptions → Disney+.

Cancel on Android (billed by Google Play)

If you subscribed to Disney+ through Google Play, cancel it in Google Play.

On your Android device, open your subscriptions in Google Play.
Select the subscription you want to cancel.
Tap Cancel subscription.
Follow the on-screen instructions.

Disney+’s own steps: in Google Play, choose Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → Disney+ → Cancel subscription. New and returning subscribers can no longer pay through Google.

Good to know before you cancel

You keep access until the end of your current term — monthly, annual or promotional.
If you had Hulu, ESPN or HBO Max before switching to a bundle, cancel each one separately — cancelling the bundle doesn’t cancel the original.
Cancelling doesn’t delete your Disney+ or MyDisney account.

Disney+ cancellation FAQ

Will I get a refund?

Disney+ says it may issue refunds in certain circumstances. If Disney+ Support approves one, it usually reaches your original payment method in 7 to 10 business days. If another company bills you, its refund policy applies.

Can I undo a cancellation?

Yes, before your term ends: log in at disneyplus.com, choose your profile, then Account, and select Restart Subscription.

Can I pause instead of cancelling?

If Disney+ bills you monthly, you may be able to pause from your Account page — some plans aren’t eligible. The pause starts on your next billing date.

I subscribed through Apple. Where do I cancel?

On your iPhone or iPad, go to Settings, tap your name, then Subscriptions, and choose Disney+.
