Good to know before you cancel
- Deleting the Shudder app from your device does not cancel your subscription. You have to follow the cancel steps for whoever bills you.
- How you cancel depends on where you first signed up: Shudder’s website, Apple, Google Play, Amazon, Roku or Samsung. Shudder’s guide asks this first.
- If you signed up on the website but pay with PayPal, cancel the recurring payment to Shudder in your PayPal account as well, or PayPal will continue to bill you.
- Not sure who bills you? Shudder says the description of the Shudder charge on your statement can tell you. Its guide lists SHUDDER.COM NY, GOOGLE*SHUDDER, APPLE.COM, AMAZON, PRIMEVIDEO, ROKU and SAMSUNG.

At the end of what you’ve already paid for. The AMC Terms of Use say that after you cancel, you keep access through the rest of the current subscription term, and the subscription ends on its last day. Shudder’s guide says a Google Play subscription stops at the end of the current billing cycle.
What if I cancel during a free trial?
The AMC Terms of Use say that if you cancel during a free trial, or while using a promotional code or other credits, the cancellation may be effective immediately.
