Good to know before you cancel

  • Philo has a no refund policy. Cancelling stops future charges, but you won’t get a refund for your current billing period.
  • Locking your card won’t prevent subscription charges. You need to cancel.
  • Cancelling your Essential or Bundle+ base plan automatically cancels any add-ons.
  • After you cancel, Philo keeps your name, email address and phone number. Its payment processor keeps your card number unless you click the “remove payment info” button on your Account page.

Philo cancellation FAQ

Will I get a refund?

No. Philo’s help says it has a no refund policy: cancelling makes sure you aren’t charged again, but you won’t receive a refund for your current billing period.

When does my access end?

Philo says that after you cancel a subscription or trial, you can keep watching the content in that paid subscription for the rest of your current billing cycle. After the cycle ends, you can still watch Philo’s Free Channels.

How can I check that I cancelled?

Sign in at philo.com and look at the Your Philo Subscription section at the top of your Account page. Philo says it confirms the cancellation and shows the last day of your billing cycle.

Can I come back later?

Yes. Philo says you can reactivate your account at any time and don’t need to start from scratch. If Philo billed you directly, sign in at philo.com and click Select this plan under the plan you want.
