How to cancel IPSY

The fastest way

Log in at ipsy.com, go to Account, click View Membership, then Cancel Membership and Continue Cancellation. Cancel by 11:59 PM PT on the 25th of the month to skip the following month’s box.

Cancel on the web

  1. Log into your IPSY account at ipsy.com before the deadline.
  2. Click Account in the top-right corner.
  3. Find the active subscription you want to cancel and click View Membership.
  4. Click Cancel Membership.
  5. Log in again when asked to verify your account information.
  6. Click Continue Cancellation, then look for the confirmation message on your screen.

If you have both IPSY Original and Extra subscriptions, IPSY says you need to cancel them separately.

Cancel on iPhone or iPad (billed by Apple)

If you subscribed to IPSY through the App Store, Apple bills you, so you cancel in Settings → your name → Subscriptions.

  1. Open the Settings app and tap your name.
  2. Tap Subscriptions.
  3. Tap the subscription you want to cancel.
  4. Tap Cancel Subscription — you may need to scroll down. If there's no cancel button, or you see red expiration text, it's already cancelled.

Don't see IPSY there? Make sure you're signed in with the Apple Account that was charged. If you have no receipt from Apple for it, another company bills you — use the steps above.

Cancel on Android (billed by Google Play)

If you subscribed to IPSY through Google Play, cancel it in Google Play.

  1. On your Android device, open your subscriptions in Google Play.
  2. Select the subscription you want to cancel.
  3. Tap Cancel subscription.
  4. Follow the on-screen instructions.

Uninstalling the app doesn't cancel the subscription.

Good to know before you cancel

  • Cancel by 11:59 PM PT on the 25th of the month for the cancellation to apply to the upcoming month. If you cancel after that, you still receive the upcoming month’s box and the cancellation takes effect the following month.
  • Original and Extra are cancelled separately. IPSY Ultimate members also need an active base membership to keep their quarterly box eligibility.
  • Quarterly and annual memberships have earlier cut-offs. IPSY’s Terms say to cancel by 11:59 pm Pacific on the 25th of the month before your next quarterly box ships, or before your annual subscription renews.
  • Cancelling an annual membership doesn’t stop boxes you’ve already prepaid for. IPSY says you keep receiving the remaining prepaid orders and your membership benefits, and it won’t renew for another year.

IPSY cancellation FAQ

Will I get a refund?

IPSY says it doesn’t offer refunds, returns or exchanges, and that there are no cancellations after an order is placed. Its Terms say all sales are final. If you have concerns about a box, the Terms say to contact IPSY Care at help.ipsy.com.

When does my cancellation take effect?

If you cancel by 11:59 PM PT on the 25th of the month, it applies to the upcoming month, so you skip that month’s box. If you cancel after the deadline, the cancellation takes effect the following month.

Can I skip a month or change how often I get boxes instead?

Yes. Log in to ipsy.com by the same deadline, go to Account, select the subscription and choose an option, such as Adjust Frequency to get boxes every other month. IPSY’s Terms also describe a Skip a Month option under Your Memberships. Annual members and gifted subscriptions may not see every option and can contact IPSY Care.

Can I come back later, and what happens to my points?

Yes. IPSY’s Terms say you may subscribe, cancel and resubscribe anytime. They also say that if you cancel, your points are saved until their expiration date, one year from when they were first earned.
