How to cancel Hulu + Live TV

Cancel Hulu + Live TV on your Account page

1. 1Head to your Account page on a computer or mobile browser.
2. 2Select Cancel under Your Subscription.
3. 3If Hulu offers to pause your subscription instead, select Continue to Cancel.
4. 4Select Cancel Subscription.
5. 5Check that your Account page says your subscription will be canceled, and keep the confirmation email Hulu sends.

Hulu gives these steps for subscriptions that Hulu bills directly, including bundle plans billed by Hulu.

Keep Hulu but drop Live TV instead

1. 1Log in to your Account page on a mobile or web browser.
2. 2In the Your Subscription section, select MANAGE PLAN. Your current plan is highlighted in green.
3. 3Toggle the plan you want from OFF to ON.
4. 4To remove an add-on, select MANAGE ADD-ONS and toggle its check mark to an x.
5. 5Select Review Changes to confirm.

Hulu says a change from Live TV to Hulu takes effect at the next billing cycle. You keep your current access until then but won’t receive a refund.

If another company bills you (Amazon, Roku and others)

1. 1On your Hulu Account page, open the Payment Information section to see who bills you.
2. 2Find that company in Hulu’s list: Amazon, Apple, Comcast Xfinity, Disney, Google, Kroger, HBO Max, Optimum, Roku, Spotify, T-Mobile or Verizon.
3. 3Follow Hulu’s help article for that company, or manage the subscription with them directly.

Hulu says the steps vary by billing party and that you may need to contact your billing partner directly.

Cancel on iPhone or iPad (billed by Apple)

If you subscribed to Hulu + Live TV through the App Store, Apple bills you, so you cancel in Settings → your name → Subscriptions.

1. 1Open the Settings app and tap your name.
2. 2Tap Subscriptions.
3. 3Tap the subscription you want to cancel.
4. 4Tap Cancel Subscription — you may need to scroll down. If there's no cancel button, or you see red expiration text, it's already cancelled.

Hulu says that if you pay for Hulu through Apple, you manage your subscription with Apple, and some plan options may not be available to you.

Cancel on Android (billed by Google Play)

If you subscribed to Hulu + Live TV through Google Play, cancel it in Google Play.

1. 1On your Android device, open your subscriptions in Google Play.
2. 2Select the subscription you want to cancel.
3. 3Tap Cancel subscription.
4. 4Follow the on-screen instructions.

Hulu says that if you pay for Hulu through Google, you manage your subscription with Google Play Help, and some plan options may not be available to you.

Good to know before you cancel

• A Hulu + Live TV free trial ends immediately when you cancel. Hulu says other Hulu free trials keep access until the trial ends.
• On a paid plan, you keep access to Hulu or your bundle plan until the end of your current billing cycle, and you won’t be charged going forward.
• Switching from Live TV to a Hulu plan takes effect at the next billing cycle, and Hulu says you won’t receive a refund for the rest of that period.
• If you had your own Disney+, ESPN+ or HBO Max subscription before moving to a bundle, cancelling the bundle doesn’t cancel that original subscription. It continues at the then-current price and terms unless you cancel it separately.
• Cancelling doesn’t delete your Hulu account or the Disney account you may use for other Disney products.
