Cancel on the web

  1. Sign in at crunchyroll.com and select your profile.
  2. Click your profile picture in the top-right corner, then Settings.
  3. Go to Membership Info and click Cancel Subscription.
  4. Click No thanks, Finish Cancellation.
  5. Share feedback or skip it to finish.

This is for memberships paid by card or PayPal on crunchyroll.com.

Cancel in the Crunchyroll app (Apple or Google billing)

  1. Tap your profile at the bottom right, then Membership.
  2. Tap Manage, swipe to your current tier and tap Cancel Subscription.
  3. Scroll down and tap Continue with Cancellation.
  4. In the store screen that opens, tap Crunchyroll, then Cancel subscription.

If you didn’t subscribe in the app, you won’t see a cancel option there.

If Amazon, PlayStation, Roku or YouTube bills you

  1. Check Membership Info in your Crunchyroll settings to see which platform bills you.
  2. Sign in to that platform and cancel there.

Crunchyroll.com won’t show a cancel option for these, and Crunchyroll Support can’t manage them.

Cancel on iPhone or iPad (billed by Apple)

If you subscribed to Crunchyroll through the App Store, Apple bills you, so you cancel in Settings → your name → Subscriptions.

  1. Open the Settings app and tap your name.
  2. Tap Subscriptions.
  3. Tap the subscription you want to cancel.
  4. Tap Cancel Subscription — you may need to scroll down. If there's no cancel button, or you see red expiration text, it's already cancelled.

If you subscribed in the Crunchyroll iPhone app, the membership is tied to your Apple account and can’t be cancelled on crunchyroll.com.

Cancel on Android (billed by Google Play)

If you subscribed to Crunchyroll through Google Play, cancel it in Google Play.

  1. On your Android device, open your subscriptions in Google Play.
  2. Select the subscription you want to cancel.
  3. Tap Cancel subscription.
  4. Follow the on-screen instructions.

Android app subscriptions are tied to your Google account. Google Play subscribers are the only ones who can pause instead.

Good to know before you cancel

  • Deleting the app, logging out or removing your payment method doesn’t cancel your membership.
  • Cancelling during the free trial ends Premium access right away.
  • A pending payment can hide the cancel option — wait 24 hours, then contact Crunchyroll Support if it’s still missing.

Crunchyroll cancellation FAQ

Will I get a refund?

Crunchyroll’s Terms say cancelling stops future charges and you keep access until the end of the paid period. EU residents can get a prorated refund within 14 days of purchase. If an app store or partner bills you, ask them.

When does my access end?

You keep your Premium perks until your billing period ends.

What if I’m on a free trial?

The trial turns into a paid membership unless you cancel first. If you cancel during the trial, Premium features end right away.

Can I pause instead of cancelling?

Only if you subscribed through Google Play — in the Android app, the cancel flow offers a pause. Other billing methods can’t pause.
