Good to know before you cancel

  • For a subscription you pay AMC+ for directly, AMC+ says to cancel from a computer and web browser, not the app.
  • If you cancel, you keep access through the rest of the subscription term you’ve paid for, and AMC says it doesn’t give refunds or credits for partial billing periods.
  • If you cancel during a free trial, or while using a promo code or other credits, AMC’s Terms say the cancellation may take effect immediately.
  • AMC+ renews automatically for the same period (monthly or yearly) you chose when you bought it, unless you cancel.

AMC+ cancellation FAQ

Will I get a refund?

Usually not. AMC’s Terms of Use say it does not provide refunds or credits for any partial billing period, partial subscription period, or unwatched content, unless required by law.

When does my access end?

AMC’s Terms of Use say that after you cancel, you keep access through the rest of the current subscription term you’ve paid for, and the subscription ends on the last day of that term. In a free trial, or when using a promo code or other credits, cancellation may be effective immediately.

Can I cancel in the AMC+ app?

AMC+’s guide says to use a computer and web browser, not the app, if you subscribed directly at amcplus.com. If Apple, Amazon, Google Play, Roku, Samsung or Verizon bills you, use that company’s subscription settings instead.

Will AMC+ renew if I don’t cancel?

Yes. AMC’s Terms of Use say a monthly or yearly subscription renews automatically for the same period you chose, unless you cancel.
