How to cancel SiriusXM

The fastest way

If SiriusXM bills you, cancel in the Subscriptions tab of its Online Account Center, by chat, or by calling 866-635-8641. If Apple, Google, Roku or T-Mobile bills you, cancel with them.

Cancel online

  1. Sign in to the SiriusXM Online Account Center.
  2. Go to the Subscriptions tab.
  3. Choose the subscription you want to end and follow the cancel prompts.

This is for subscriptions and trials bought directly from SiriusXM — on siriusxm.com, by phone or by mail.

Cancel by chat

  1. Open SiriusXM’s Manage or Cancel Service help page, or its Contact Us page.
  2. Start a chat with an agent.
  3. Ask the agent to cancel your subscription.

SiriusXM’s Contact Us page says live chat is available 24/7.

Cancel by phone

  1. Call SiriusXM at 866-635-8641 (8 am to 8 pm ET, every day).
  2. Have your account number or radio ID ready.
  3. Ask to cancel your subscription.

If Roku or T-Mobile bills you

  1. Roku: sign in at my.roku.com, find SiriusXM in your subscriptions and cancel it there.
  2. T-Mobile: sign in to your T-Mobile account, open your add-ons and remove the SiriusXM add-on.

SiriusXM says a Roku-billed subscription can’t be cancelled inside the SiriusXM app.

Cancel on iPhone or iPad (billed by Apple)

If you subscribed to SiriusXM through the App Store, Apple bills you, so you cancel in Settings → your name → Subscriptions.

  1. Open the Settings app and tap your name.
  2. Tap Subscriptions.
  3. Tap the subscription you want to cancel.
  4. Tap Cancel Subscription — you may need to scroll down. If there's no cancel button, or you see red expiration text, it's already cancelled.

If you bought in the SiriusXM iPhone app, cancel through Apple at least 24 hours before it renews. Deleting the app doesn’t cancel.

Cancel on Android (billed by Google Play)

If you subscribed to SiriusXM through Google Play, cancel it in Google Play.

  1. On your Android device, open your subscriptions in Google Play.
  2. Select the subscription you want to cancel.
  3. Tap Cancel subscription.
  4. Follow the on-screen instructions.

Purchases in the SiriusXM Android app (including Android TV) are billed by Google Play — cancel there at least 24 hours before it renews.

Good to know before you cancel

  • Cancel at least 24 hours before your renewal date, or you may be charged for another period.
  • Uninstalling the app, selling your car or returning your radio doesn’t cancel your subscription.
  • Some offers carry a cancellation or early-termination fee, shown in that offer’s details.
  • Trials that come with a vehicle don’t renew on their own, but paid plans that start with a free period do.

SiriusXM cancellation FAQ

Will I get a refund?

Only within a short window. Cancel a monthly audio plan within 7 days of its start and it ends right away, with a pro-rata refund if you ask. For other plans the window is 30 days from the start or renewal. After that, partial periods aren’t refunded.

When does my service stop?

For audio subscriptions, at the end of your current subscription period. Cancelling during a free trial may end it right away.

Can I cancel SiriusXM online?

Yes, if SiriusXM bills you directly: its help points to the Subscriptions tab in the Online Account Center, alongside chat and phone. If Apple, Google Play, Roku or T-Mobile bills you, cancel with them.

Does returning my radio cancel my plan?

No. SiriusXM says returning your radio doesn’t cancel your plan — cancel it separately.
