Good to know before you cancel
- Cancelling a paid subscription stops automatic renewal, but you keep access to all paid features for the rest of your current subscription period.
- Cancelling a free trial is different. The trial ends immediately and your account converts to the free version. Grammarly says your data isn’t lost and you keep access to your documents.
- If you’re a Superhuman user, cancelling through your associated Grammarly account applies across all other applications in the Superhuman suite.
- If you don’t see the cancel button, make sure you’re logged in to the correct account. If you can’t find your paid account, Grammarly points to its Problems signing in article, and says to contact Support if you don’t have access to it.

Grammarly Pro cancellation FAQ
Will I get a refund?
Probably not. Grammarly says you can cancel at any time, but as outlined in its Terms of Service, refunds are issued only if required by law. If you bought your subscription from the App Store, contact Apple to request a refund.
When does my access end?
Grammarly says you still have access to all paid features for the duration of your current subscription period. A free trial is the exception: it ends immediately when you cancel it.
I subscribed through the App Store. Where do I cancel?
With Apple. Grammarly’s cancel article sends App Store subscribers to Apple’s Cancel a subscription from Apple page, and says to contact Apple for refunds.
Can I cancel from my phone?
Yes. Grammarly says that if you’re using a mobile device, you can cancel your subscription at account.grammarly.com. If you subscribed through the App Store, cancel through Apple instead.
