Good to know before you cancel

  • Annual plan paid monthly: cancelling after the first 14 days costs 50% of what’s left on the contract (Adobe’s US terms).
  • Annual prepaid and month-to-month plans aren’t refunded after 14 days; they keep working to the end of the term.
  • Cloud storage drops to the free amount when you cancel. If you’re over, you have 30 days to reduce it before you may lose access to files.
  • Any remaining generative credits expire when you cancel.

Adobe Creative Cloud cancellation FAQ

Will I get a refund?

For most plans, Adobe gives a full refund if you cancel within 14 days of your first purchase. After that, annual prepaid and month-to-month plans aren’t refunded and keep working until the end of the term.

Is there a cancellation fee?

On an annual plan paid monthly, cancelling after the first 14 days costs 50% of what’s left on the contract, under Adobe’s US terms.

Can I switch to a cheaper plan instead?

Yes. Adobe says there’s no cancellation fee for changing to another paid plan, such as Creative Cloud Standard. (The old All Apps plan is now called Creative Cloud Pro.)

When do I lose access?

Paid apps and services keep working until the end of your billing period. Your Adobe account stays as a free membership.
