Cancel on desktop or the web
- Log in to the right Canva account or team.
- On the homepage, select your account profile to open the menu, then select Settings.
- Go to Billing.
- On your plan, select Cancel plan, then select Continue cancellation.
- Choose why you want to cancel, then select Continue cancellation. You can optionally tell Canva why.
- Select Cancel subscription.
Canva says you’ll receive a confirmation email when your plan is cancelled. This path is for plans you subscribed to directly through Canva.
Pause instead of cancelling
- Follow the cancel steps above until you select Cancel plan and then Continue cancellation.
- On the next screen, select I want to pause my subscription, then select Continue cancellation.
- Select Pause for 3 months to confirm.
Canva says you can pause a Canva Pro, Teams or Business plan for up to 3 months, and the pause begins once your current billing period ends. On an annual plan, you can pause if you have less than two months until it renews.
Cancel on iPhone or iPad (billed by Apple)
If you subscribed to Canva Pro through the App Store, Apple bills you, so you cancel in Settings → your name → Subscriptions.
- Open the Settings app and tap your name.
- Tap Subscriptions.
- Tap the subscription you want to cancel.
- Tap Cancel Subscription — you may need to scroll down. If there's no cancel button, or you see red expiration text, it's already cancelled.
Canva says to cancel App Store subscriptions through Apple: on iPhone or iPad, go to Settings, tap your name, tap Subscriptions, tap Canva, then tap Cancel Subscription and confirm. Canva can’t process refunds for App Store subscriptions.

Cancel on Android (billed by Google Play)
If you subscribed to Canva Pro through Google Play, cancel it in Google Play.
- On your Android device, open your subscriptions in Google Play.
- Select the subscription you want to cancel.
- Tap Cancel subscription.
- Follow the on-screen instructions.
Canva says you can’t cancel a Google Play subscription in the Canva app. In the Google Play Store, tap your profile icon, then Payments & subscriptions, then Subscriptions, find your Canva plan and tap Cancel subscription.

Good to know before you cancel
- How you cancel depends on where you subscribed. Check your billing email or bank statement to see whether Canva, Google, Apple or PayPal charged you, then follow the steps for that platform.
- For mobile subscriptions, uninstalling the app doesn’t cancel your plan. Cancel through your device’s app store.
- After you cancel, your Canva account stays active and your designs remain accessible on Canva Free. Canva says Affinity also stays free with your account.
- Cancelling Canva Teams is permanent. Canva says you won’t be able to resubscribe to Teams and suggests Canva Business if you might want a team plan again.
- If you have more than one Canva account or team, make sure you cancel the one that holds the subscription.

Canva Pro cancellation FAQ
Will I get a refund?
Usually not. Canva says that in most cases Canva subscriptions aren’t refundable, as outlined in its Terms of Use. It says it reviews every refund request and sometimes helps depending on the situation. For App Store subscriptions you have to ask Apple.
When does my access end?
Canva says cancelling stops future payments and you keep access to paid features until the end of your current billing period.
Can I undo a cancellation?
Yes, as long as you’ve requested cancellation and your subscription is still active. Go to the Billing page and select the Stay on option for your plan, such as Stay on Canva Pro.
I cancelled but I’m still being charged. Why?
Canva lists three common causes: you have more than one Canva account and only cancelled one, you subscribed through Google Play or the App Store, or the cancellation didn’t go through. Check your inbox for a Canva cancellation confirmation email. If there isn’t one, try cancelling again.
