Cancel online (some clubs)

  1. Sign in to your Crunch Member Portal.
  2. Open Manage Membership.
  3. Look for the option to cancel your membership.

  1. Find your home club’s phone number on Crunch’s locations page at crunch.com/locations.

Good to know before you cancel

  • Cancellation policies vary by location based on state and local guidelines, and the notice you need before your next billing date depends on your Membership Agreement.
  • Not using the gym or stopping payment doesn’t cancel anything. A month-to-month membership continues until you request cancellation, and a balance keeps building on your account until you do. After a certain amount of time your membership can go into collections.
  • Crunch Signature: your last month’s dues are paid upfront, so no matter when you cancel, your last day of access is the last day of the following month.
  • Crunch+ is a separate monthly charge. Cancelling it doesn’t affect your gym membership, and Crunch says changes to Crunch+ are made on the Crunch+ website.

Will I get a refund?

Only in limited cases. Crunch’s FAQ says the only valid reason for a refund is cancelling within the first few days of your membership (each state has laws for this grace period), or if Crunch missed your request because of extenuating circumstances. If you say you cancelled and your membership wasn’t terminated, you will be asked to provide proof of the initial request. Crunch lists refund requests among the things your home club’s billing team can help with.

How much notice do I need to give?

Crunch says the required cancellation notice before your next billing date may vary based on your Membership Agreement. Check your agreement or ask your home club.

Can I freeze or pause my membership?

Crunch’s FAQ doesn’t describe a freeze policy. It says to contact your home gym directly for more information, or to use the contact form on crunch.com.

I’m moving. Can I transfer to a new club?

Crunch says home club transfers are managed by your current home club. Some memberships may not be eligible for transfer and may require cancelling and rejoining at your new location or membership type.
