How to cancel Bumble
The fastest way
Cancel where you subscribed: in your Apple or Google Play subscription settings, or, if you pay Bumble directly by card, PayPal or Apple Pay, in the Bumble app under Subscription details, then Manage your subscription. You keep your paid perks until the end of the period you’ve already paid for.

Cancel in the Bumble app (card, PayPal or Apple Pay)
- Open the Bumble app.
- Tap the profile icon.
- Select Subscription details, then tap Manage your subscription.
- Choose to cancel your subscription.
Bumble gives these steps for subscriptions paid with PayPal, a credit or debit card, or Apple Pay. If you can’t get into Bumble to cancel yourself, Bumble says to reach out to its support team.
Cancel on iPhone or iPad (billed by Apple)
If you subscribed to Bumble through the App Store, Apple bills you, so you cancel in Settings → your name → Subscriptions.
- Open the Settings app and tap your name.
- Tap Subscriptions.
- Tap the subscription you want to cancel.
- Tap Cancel Subscription — you may need to scroll down. If there's no cancel button, or you see red expiration text, it's already cancelled.
Bumble says App Store subscriptions are cancelled through Apple. It also says deleting your Bumble account won’t automatically cancel an App Store subscription.

Cancel on Android (billed by Google Play)
If you subscribed to Bumble through Google Play, cancel it in Google Play.
- On your Android device, open your subscriptions in Google Play.
- Select the subscription you want to cancel.
- Tap Cancel subscription.
- Follow the on-screen instructions.
Bumble says Google Play subscriptions are cancelled through Google Play. You may see a small preauthorization charge before a renewal, which Bumble says is Google checking you have enough funds.

Good to know before you cancel
- How you cancel depends on how you signed up and your payment method: Apple App Store, Google Play, or PayPal, card or Apple Pay through Bumble.
- Bumble says your subscription renews automatically unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the renewal date.
- After you cancel, you keep your paid perks until the end of your subscription date. If Apple or Google Play approve a refund, you may lose access immediately.
- Deleting the Bumble app or your account doesn’t cancel your subscription. Bumble’s help tells you to cancel first, and App Store subscriptions have to be cancelled in the App Store.

Bumble cancellation FAQ
Will I get a refund?
Usually not. Bumble’s Terms say that, generally, all charges for purchases are nonrefundable, and there are no refunds or credits for partially used periods. Bumble’s help says eligibility depends on the platform you used, your location and what you bought. Apple and Google decide refunds for purchases made through their stores. For card, Apple Pay, PayPal or Bumble Web payments, contact Bumble support with your order number. The Terms also give a short cancellation window to subscribers in certain US states (cancel before midnight of the third business day after subscribing). For subscribers outside the US, they allow a refund, minus the value of any portion you used, if you ask within 6 days of a weekly subscription starting or 14 days of a monthly or longer one, but not for renewals. The Terms say eligible subscribers must request the refund as well as cancel.
When does my Bumble access end?
Bumble says that after you cancel you keep your paid perks until the end of your subscription date, meaning the period you’ve already paid for. If Apple or Google Play approve a refund, you may lose access immediately.
Does deleting my Bumble account cancel my subscription?
No. Bumble’s help says subscriptions may not cancel automatically when you delete your account, so cancel first. For App Store subscriptions, you have to cancel directly through the App Store. Bumble’s Terms also say deleting your account or the app doesn’t cancel your subscription.
What if I can’t get into my account to cancel?
Bumble’s help says to reach out to its support team, who will help you cancel. If Apple or Google Play bills you, you can also cancel in your Apple or Google subscription settings without opening Bumble.
