When to stay with Rocket Money

  • You want a free plan with subscription tracking — Rocket Money has one. (ChatGPT Finances is also on ChatGPT’s free plan, but it’s read-only and US-only.)[4]
  • You want people to cancel and negotiate for you: Rocket Money’s team handles cancellations on Premium, and negotiation on Premium+ with no fee from November 2, 2026.[5][6]
  • You want a credit score in the same app — every Rocket Money member gets a FICO Score 2.[7]
  • You use Android — Rocket Money has an Android app; Wally doesn’t.[8]

Switching away from Rocket Money

  • Cancel Premium in the app: Settings, Membership, Manage Membership, slide to $0 a month, then Cancel Subscription. It ends with your billing cycle.[9]
  • Paid through Apple or Google? Cancel in the App Store or Google Play.[9]
  • Active bill negotiations stay in place after you cancel Premium, and a successful one still bills its agreed fee.[9][6]
