Rocket Money, explained
Rocket Money Premium vs Premium+ vs free
The short answer
Free covers tracking: subscriptions, budgets and bill reminders. Premium — pay-what-you-choose, $7 to $14 a month per Rocket Money’s own pages, with a 7-day free trial — adds cancellations by Rocket Money’s team, unlimited budgets, net worth, shared access, automated savings and the website. Premium+ ($15 a month plus tax) adds Rowan, Rocket Money’s AI assistant, and from November 2, 2026 is the only plan with bill negotiation, with no fee.[1][2][3][4][5][6]

Which one fits
- Free, if you mainly want to see your subscriptions and spending, and you’re happy to cancel things yourself.
- Premium, if you want Rocket Money’s team to cancel for you, or want shared access, net worth and the website.
- Premium+, if you want bill negotiation after November 2, 2026, or Rowan.
Changing or cancelling your plan
- Cancel Premium in the app: Settings, then Membership, then Manage Membership; move the slider all the way to $0 a month, then choose Cancel Subscription. It ends at the end of your billing cycle.[15]
- Paid through Apple or Google? Cancel in the App Store or Google Play instead.[15]
- Moving from Premium+ back to Premium means contacting Rocket Money’s support; the change takes effect at the end of your billing cycle.[4][5]
- Cancelling Premium doesn’t delete your Rocket Money account, and active bill negotiations stay in place.[15]
Where Wally fits
Wally has one plan — $6.99 a month on iPhone, or $69.99 a year with a 7-day free trial ($69.99 a year on the web). There’s no free plan and no bill negotiation; instead, Wally cancels subscriptions in its own browser while you watch, flags price hikes, reads your email for bills and trials if you connect it, and works in Canada as well as the US.
