Heads up: WSJ’s help pages don’t allow automated reading, so we couldn’t confirm its exact menu names or whether every subscription can be cancelled online. These steps are kept general — follow the WSJ Customer Center if anything differs.

Cancel in the WSJ Customer Center

  1. Go to customercenter.wsj.com and sign in with the account that pays for your subscription.
  2. Open your subscription details.
  3. If you see an option to cancel, select it and follow the prompts.
  4. If there’s no cancel option, use the Customer Center’s contact options to reach customer service and ask to cancel.
  5. Keep the confirmation email.

Cancel on iPhone or iPad (billed by Apple)

If you subscribed to The Wall Street Journal through the App Store, Apple bills you, so you cancel in Settings → your name → Subscriptions.

  1. Open the Settings app and tap your name.
  2. Tap Subscriptions.
  3. Tap the subscription you want to cancel.
  4. Tap Cancel Subscription — you may need to scroll down. If there's no cancel button, or you see red expiration text, it's already cancelled.

Don't see The Wall Street Journal there? Make sure you're signed in with the Apple Account that was charged. If you have no receipt from Apple for it, another company bills you — use the steps above.

Where do I find WSJ’s cancellation and refund terms?

In the WSJ Customer Center at customercenter.wsj.com, and in the Dow Jones subscriber agreement linked from WSJ’s sites.
