Cancel online (subscribed directly with TSN)

  1. Log in to your account at account.bellmedia.ca, the sign-in page TSN’s help links to.
  2. Go to Manage Subscription.
  3. Click the Subscriptions tab.
  4. Scroll down and select Cancel Subscription.
  5. Enter the reason for cancellation and click Yes, Cancel.

TSN says you’ll receive a confirmation email, you keep TSN until the end of the billing period in which you cancel, and your credit card won’t be charged on the next billing date.

Cancel a bundle, or keep just one plan

  1. Visit your account at account.bellmedia.ca.
  2. Select Subscriptions.
  3. Select Manage next to your bundle.
  4. From the Manage Plan page, select Change or Cancel Plan.
  5. To cancel the whole bundle, select Cancel Plan under your bundle. To keep just one plan, select the standalone monthly plan you want to keep.
  6. Follow the steps until you see the confirmation page.

TSN’s help adds that cancelling your Crave subscription also cancels your add-on subscriptions.

If Bell bills you for TSN

  1. Log in to MyBell.
  2. Select My services, then Subscriptions.
  3. Select Manage subscriptions.
  4. Select the TSN subscription, then select Cancel subscription.
  5. Select Yes, cancel subscription.
  6. Review the details of your cancellation, then select Confirm cancellation.

Bell says this stops the subscription renewing on the next scheduled renewal date and your TSN access continues until then. After that date TSN is no longer billed through Bell, so to keep watching you must resubscribe directly through TSN.

If Roku bills you for TSN

  1. Sign in to my.roku.com and go to Manage your subscriptions.
  2. Under Active subscriptions, select the TSN subscription.
  3. Select Manage subscription, then select Turn off auto-renew.

Roku says turning off auto-renew means you’ve cancelled, and you keep access until the end of your current billing cycle. If the option isn’t there, Roku says the subscription isn’t managed through Roku and you need to contact the streaming service provider directly.

If a TV provider bills you

  1. Contact your TV provider’s support team about cancelling TSN.
  2. Check your provider’s terms for cancellation, credits and refunds.

TSN’s help doesn’t list cancellation steps for TV providers. Its Terms say your provider’s terms can change the payment, billing and cancellation terms that apply to you.

Cancel on iPhone or iPad (billed by Apple)

If you subscribed to TSN through the App Store, Apple bills you, so you cancel in Settings → your name → Subscriptions.

  1. Open the Settings app and tap your name.
  2. Tap Subscriptions.
  3. Tap the subscription you want to cancel.
  4. Tap Cancel Subscription — you may need to scroll down. If there's no cancel button, or you see red expiration text, it's already cancelled.

TSN says you can subscribe by in-app purchase in the TSN app. If you pay that way, it says to cancel directly with the provider, and for Apple it links to Apple’s support page.

Good to know before you cancel

  • TSN’s subscribe page says plans renew automatically for the period you selected, at the then-applicable price, and that the price may increase during a subscription. In Quebec, renewal is monthly. TSN’s Terms say that if you don’t cancel during the current term, your subscription renews.
  • Cancel with whoever bills you. TSN says an in-app purchase is cancelled directly with Apple, Google or Roku, and a subscription billed through Bell is changed in MyBell under Manage my Subscriptions.
  • Bell says a TSN subscription you already have directly with TSN isn’t automatically transferred or paused when you add one through Bell. You must manage the existing one yourself to avoid being billed twice.
  • TSN says bundles are only available when you subscribe directly through TSN, and only on monthly cycles. If you’re on an annual plan, you can switch to a bundle once your current annual term ends.

TSN cancellation FAQ

Will I get a refund?

No. TSN’s FAQ says it does not offer refunds, but you keep full access until the end of your current billing cycle. Its Terms say all subscription fees are non-refundable. If you subscribed through another company, the Terms say to ask that company about credits or refunds.

When does my access end?

TSN says you continue to have access until the end of the billing period in which you cancel, and your credit card won’t be charged on the next billing date.

Does TSN renew automatically?

Yes. TSN’s subscribe page says plans renew according to the period you selected and the then-applicable price is charged to your payment method, except in Quebec, where renewal is monthly. TSN’s Terms add that outside Quebec, a fixed-term subscription such as 12 months renews for a new term unless you cancel before the current term ends.

Can I cancel TSN online or on my phone?

Yes. TSN’s Terms say you may cancel your recurring subscription online by signing in to your account on its website or at account.bellmedia.ca. If you subscribed with an in-app purchase on an iPhone or Android phone, TSN says to cancel directly with Apple or Google instead.
