How to cancel Sportsnet+
The fastest way
In Canada, if you subscribed on Sportsnet+’s own website, open the desktop version of watch.sportsnet.ca, use the drop-down menu in the top right corner, then click Account and Billing to cancel. Monthly subscribers keep access until the end of the current billing cycle.

Cancel on the web (subscribed through Sportsnet+)
- Open the desktop version of watch.sportsnet.ca (or sportsnetplus.ca) and sign in.
- Click the drop-down menu in the top right corner.
- Click Account, then click Billing.
- Click Cancel Subscription.
- Read the details of cancelling, then click Cancel my subscription.
Sportsnet+’s cancel article only says to click Account, then Billing, to cancel. The last two button names come from its articles on pausing and on cancelling a paused subscription.
If you subscribed through Amazon (in-app purchase)
- Go to amazon.ca.
- Select My Account in the menu.
- Select Memberships and Subscriptions.
- Find Sportsnet+ and select Manage Subscription.
- Select Actions, then Turn off Autorenewal.
Sportsnet+ lists these steps for a subscription you bought through an Amazon in-app purchase. The Sportsnet Prime Video Channel is a different subscription, covered next.
If you subscribed to the Sportsnet Prime Video Channel
- On Prime Video, go to Account & Settings and select Subscriptions from the top menu.
- Find the Sportsnet subscription you want to cancel.
- Select Unsubscribe and confirm. Prime Video says this option may also appear as withdraw.
Sportsnet+ says the Prime Video Channel is a separate subscription billed through your Amazon account, and its Care agents can’t resolve billing or technical issues for it. Prime Video says you can reverse the cancellation until your subscription end date.
If Rogers bills you
- Sign in to MyRogers and open the Subscriptions page, where Rogers says existing customers manage their streaming subscriptions.
- Look for the Sportsnet+ add-on. Rogers says an add-on you bought individually can be cancelled at any time, and the cancellation takes effect on the next billing date for that app.
- If you can’t cancel it there, contact Rogers. Sportsnet+ says changes to a subscription bought through a third party must be handled with that provider.
Rogers says you can’t cancel single apps inside a bundle add-on (cancel the bundle instead) or inside an Xfinity TV or Streaming package (change or cancel the package). It also says unlinking Sportsnet+ in your Rogers account doesn’t cancel it. Rogers’ terms are dated August 27, 2025.
If TELUS or Koodo bills you
- Contact the provider you originally subscribed through, TELUS or Koodo.
- Ask it to cancel your Sportsnet+ subscription.
Sportsnet+ says a third-party provider manages all aspects of your subscription, including cancellations.
Cancel on iPhone or iPad (billed by Apple)
If you subscribed to Sportsnet+ through the App Store, Apple bills you, so you cancel in Settings → your name → Subscriptions.
- Open the Settings app and tap your name.
- Tap Subscriptions.
- Tap the subscription you want to cancel.
- Tap Cancel Subscription — you may need to scroll down. If there's no cancel button, or you see red expiration text, it's already cancelled.
Sportsnet+ says an Apple in-app subscription renews automatically unless you turn it off no later than 24 hours before the end of the current billing period.

Cancel on Android (billed by Google Play)
If you subscribed to Sportsnet+ through Google Play, cancel it in Google Play.
- On your Android device, open your subscriptions in Google Play.
- Select the subscription you want to cancel.
- Tap Cancel subscription.
- Follow the on-screen instructions.
Sportsnet+ says that in its app you can open the Watch section, tap the profile icon, then Manage Subscription and Cancel Subscription. That takes you to Google Play, where you complete the cancellation.

Good to know before you cancel
- Monthly plans: Sportsnet+ says you keep access until the end of your current billing cycle and aren’t charged for the following month. In Quebec, it says cancellation is effective right away and you’re refunded the remaining portion of the month.
- Annual plans: to opt out of auto-renewal, cancel before your renewal date. Sportsnet+ says if you cancel after renewal or after purchasing, you keep access until your next renewal date, and there are no refunds.
- Pausing is an alternative on monthly plans: Sportsnet+ says you can pause for 3 months, with no access and no billing meanwhile. It says users on discounts can’t pause yet.
- Sportsnet+ says cancelling the Sportsnet+ Citytv+ Bundle ends both services, and you keep both until your term end date. You can’t cancel one and keep the other.
- Cancel with whoever bills you. Sportsnet+ says the Sportsnet Prime Video Channel is a separate subscription billed through Amazon. Rogers says that if you add Sportsnet+ through Rogers while you already have it directly, you are billed for both until you cancel the direct one.

Sportsnet+ cancellation FAQ
Can I cancel Sportsnet+ without calling anyone?
Yes, in most cases. If you subscribed on Sportsnet+’s website, you cancel online under Account and Billing. If you subscribed in an app store, Sportsnet+ points you to your Apple, Google or Amazon subscription settings. If Rogers bills you, Rogers says existing customers manage streaming subscriptions on the Subscriptions page in MyRogers. If TELUS or Koodo bills you, you contact that provider.
Will I get a refund?
Mostly no. Sportsnet+ says there are no refunds on annual subscriptions, and that a monthly cancellation stops the next month’s charge. The exception it states is Quebec, where cancellation takes effect right away and you’re refunded the remaining part of the month. Prime Video says cancelling a Prime Video subscription doesn’t generate a refund for previous charges.
Can I cancel during a free trial?
Sportsnet+’s Terms say Rogers may offer free trials. They say you may cancel at any time within the trial period and your payment method won’t be charged, by notifying Rogers through its contact options. They also say that if you subscribe again after cancelling, you may be denied further trials.
Does Sportsnet+ renew automatically?
Yes. Sportsnet+’s Terms say a subscription renews monthly, annually or at the frequency you chose when you subscribed, unless you cancel before the deadline. If you don’t cancel by then, you authorize Rogers to charge the renewal price.
