How to cancel Uber One
The fastest way
In the Uber app, open your profile, select Uber One, then Manage Membership and End Membership (twice). You keep your benefits until the end of the current billing period, unless you’re on a free trial, which ends as soon as you cancel.

Cancel in the app
- Open the Uber app, or the Uber Eats app if that’s where you joined.
- Select the profile icon (or tap Account in the bottom-right corner), then select Uber One.
- Scroll down and select Manage Membership.
- Select End Membership, then select End Membership again to confirm.
If you cancel less than 24 hours before your next renewal day, you may see a charge that Uber automatically refunds.
If a partner gave you Uber One
- Check the terms of the promotion or offer that gave you Uber One.
- If the partner manages payment or cancellation, contact that partner.
Uber’s terms say the partner may manage aspects of your membership, including payments and cancellation.
Cancel on iPhone or iPad (billed by Apple)
If you subscribed to Uber One through the App Store, Apple bills you, so you cancel in Settings → your name → Subscriptions.
- Open the Settings app and tap your name.
- Tap Subscriptions.
- Tap the subscription you want to cancel.
- Tap Cancel Subscription — you may need to scroll down. If there's no cancel button, or you see red expiration text, it's already cancelled.
Don't see Uber One there? Make sure you're signed in with the Apple Account that was charged. If you have no receipt from Apple for it, another company bills you — use the steps above.

Cancel on Android (billed by Google Play)
If you subscribed to Uber One through Google Play, cancel it in Google Play.
- On your Android device, open your subscriptions in Google Play.
- Select the subscription you want to cancel.
- Tap Cancel subscription.
- Follow the on-screen instructions.
Uninstalling the app doesn't cancel the subscription.

Good to know before you cancel
- A free trial ends the moment you cancel. A paid membership keeps its benefits until the end of the current billing period.
- If your free trial came from a third-party offer, you keep your benefits for the length of that offer, then they end.
- Uber One credits you’ve earned can’t be used without an active membership, and they expire at the end of the membership cycle.
- Your renewal day is shown in the membership section of the Uber app. Uber says it charges you no more than 24 hours before that day.

Uber One cancellation FAQ
Will I get a refund?
Mostly no. Uber says that, except where the law prohibits it, your subscription charge is non-refundable once your billing cycle begins, and its terms add that a monthly payment already charged isn’t refunded pro rata if you cancel partway through the period. The exception: if you cancel within 24 hours before your renewal day and the next payment has already been processed, Uber automatically refunds that payment. How long that takes depends on your payment method provider.
When does my Uber One access end?
On a paid membership, at the end of the current billing period. On a free trial, immediately when you cancel. If your trial came through a third-party promotional offer, at the end of that offer.
Can I cancel Uber One on the website?
Uber’s help and terms describe cancelling inside the Uber app, and say you can cancel anytime in the app. They don’t describe a website option, so use the app.
Can I pause Uber One instead of cancelling?
Sometimes. Uber’s terms let monthly members pause if they aren’t on a free trial or a partner-sponsored offer. The pause starts when your current billing cycle ends, and you can pause up to four times per calendar year. Pause at least 24 hours before your billing day to avoid the next charge.
