- Select Your Instacart+ membership.
- Under Manage your membership, select Cancel membership.

Instacart says you’ll get an email confirming your cancellation. If you can’t find it, check your spam folder.
Cancel on iPhone or iPad (billed by Apple)
If you subscribed to Instacart+ through the App Store, Apple bills you, so you cancel in Settings → your name → Subscriptions.
- Open the Settings app and tap your name.
- Tap Subscriptions.
- Tap the subscription you want to cancel.
- Tap Cancel Subscription — you may need to scroll down. If there's no cancel button, or you see red expiration text, it's already cancelled.
Don't see Instacart+ there? Make sure you're signed in with the Apple Account that was charged. If you have no receipt from Apple for it, another company bills you — use the steps above.

Good to know before you cancel
- If you’re on a trial, your membership can auto-enroll into a paid plan when the trial ends, and Instacart says the charge may be applied up to 6 hours before then. Cancel before it ends, in your account settings.
- Your billing date is shown on your Your Instacart+ Membership page, where you can also see when your membership expires.
- While cancelling, you can choose a reminder sent 7 days before the membership renews instead.
- Monthly membership fees aren’t refundable, and annual fees are refundable only in a short window after you’re charged.

Instacart+ cancellation FAQ
Will I get a refund?
Usually not. Instacart’s help says annual members who cancel within the first 5 calendar days of a paid membership get a refund of the fee, but only if they haven’t placed any orders using the membership. Its terms say monthly fees aren’t refundable and annual memberships cancelled after that 5-day window aren’t either, unless the law requires it.
When does my Instacart+ end after I cancel?
Instacart says you can keep enjoying $0 delivery fees through the end of your billing period. Its terms add that a cancelled monthly membership won’t auto-renew.
Will I be charged if I cancel during a free trial?
Not if you cancel before the trial or promotion ends. Instacart’s terms say that if you cancel before the free trial or promotional period has expired, it won’t charge you for the next membership term unless you restart your membership.
Can I rejoin later?
Yes. Instacart says you can return to the Your Instacart+ membership page and select Renew membership at any time to become a member again.
